*Naturally, I became excited when I found the Casio CTK-720
*I don’t know whether it was the instrument itself or my USB cable that could have possibly been bad, but when I installed the software that came with the keyboard so I could use it with my computer, the recording quality was so poor and low that I have never bothered to try it out with a different USB cable, despite the fact that I bought this keyboard primarily to use in conjunction with my computer
*Although it is portable, in my opinion, this one may not be the best choice for a person who intends to take it on the road for shows or for those who are pressed for space
*Although I do not utilize the learn to play feature, I enjoy the fact that it is there and easy to use should I choose to do so
*It was a worth while investment in my opinion, even if it only met about 85% of my needs and preferences

*Living in a rural area, I had been looking for a decent quality, but low priced musical keyboard for beginners for years. Naturally, I became excited when I found the Casio CTK-720.
This keyboard is made for those who are beginner to intermediate players. There are a monstrous variety of instrumental tones and rhythms to choose from. The keyboard has several songs programmed in, and special function to help new players learn to perform the songs.
I personally did not find the learn to play feature useful as the screen is small and difficult to see in more dimly lit rooms. This instrument is MIDI so it can
be hooked up to a PC to add new dimensions in both recording and fun. * opinion, this one may not be the best choice for a person who intends to take it on the road for shows or for those who are pressed for space. The keys are large and I found them easy to play.
This keyboard can range greatly in price, depending on where it is purchased. I have seen them priced as low as $70 to $200, both new and used. Casino near me 18 and up. Although I do not utilize the learn to play feature, I enjoy the fact that it is there and easy to use should I choose to do so. I have to admit that I was disappointed that this keyboard does not come with a better recording function so that I can record harder to play accompaniments and then play the right hand section along with them. This is quite useful to those who neither play by ear nor by reading music.
Although the size of the instrument can be a burden in some cases, I love the bulkiness due to the fact that it can’t just get lost in my kids’ room under a pile of clothes like many earlier, priced to own keyboards did. It was a worth while investment in my opinion, even if it only met about 85% of my needs and preferences.
